Are the Guitar Methods included in All Access?
While All Access gives you the raw content (videos, tracks, charts), the Guitar Method purchase provides the complete guided learning experience — structured study guides, accountability tools, and access to the dedicated community that will help you progress faster and more effectively. When you purchase the Guitar Method, you unlock the full channel and community experience, plus step-by-step study guides, structured assignments, and other exclusive features designed to keep you on track and motivated.
BONUS! All Access Students receive an extra 20% off the Guitar Method purchase. You can apply your TrueFire Cash balance toward your Guitar Method purchase, in addition to your All Access discount.
How do I access the Method and bonus downloads?
You can access your Method via any desktop or mobile web browser at TrueFire.com. After enrolling, you'll find it in your dashboard under "My Channels." You can also download the full package to use offline in the TrueFire desktop or mobile apps. Bonus content like the Big Black Book will be in your dashboard under My Other Downloads.
What if I can't work on it every day?
No problem. The Method is entirely self-paced, so you can progress through the lesson sets and Labs whenever your schedule allows.
What skill level do I need to join?
TrueFire's Guitar Method is designed for players at any stage — from late beginners to advanced. You can adapt the pace and depth of the material to match your current skill level.
Do I have to submit my assignments?
Submitting assignments is optional, but encouraged. It's how you track your progress, receive feedback, and qualify for the $20 TrueFire Cash bonus when you complete the Method.
What gear do I need?
You'll need a guitar (electric or acoustic) and a reliable internet connection to stream lessons. If you'd like to record and submit assignments, you'll also need a webcam or smartphone with a mic. Any additional practice tools are optional.
How long will I have access to the course materials?
You'll have lifetime access to your Method. This includes all videos, study guides, assignments, charts, jam tracks, and the downloadable Guitarist's Black Book.
Will I receive direct feedback?
While we can't guarantee feedback on every submission, our in-house guitar education team and Method community are active and available to offer guidance and encouragement.
Are there any recommended skills or prerequisites?
Basic guitar skills — like tuning your guitar, reading tab, and knowing a few basic chords — are helpful, but not required. The Method is designed to meet you where you are.
Who can see my posted videos?
Videos you share are visible only inside the private Method community. This means they're never public on the internet — they're just for you, your fellow students, and our TrueFire team. Sharing your progress is a great way to get support, learn from others, and stay inspired as you move through the program.
Can I start any time?
Yes. You can enroll whenever you're ready and begin working through the lesson sets and Labs at your own pace.
